This year Zurich is sixth and Geneva is one place behind, at place number seven. Those considered to be the best cities to live in globally remain the same as in 2022, however, the Swiss cities Zurich and Geneva have slipped down the ranking. Hong Kong suffered the same fate.The 2023 Global Livability Index, published by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the research and analysis division of the Economist Group, reveals a stable situation for the top 10 most-liveable cities. ![]() Neither St Petersburg (fifth in 2019) or Moscow (38th last time) picked up enough votes to be ranked. These results continue a downward trend for the US in your thoughts the likes of New York, Chicago and Las Vegas all sit far lower in this poll than any of them would like.
